It's a true story too. Lately I have been so choked up its ridiculous. I read a bunch of articles on how people get through it. A lot of people have a plan to resort to while stuck in a rut. So I figure, instead of sitting stagnant, I'll try to keep my plan as follows:
-watch some awesome anime -listing to awesome music -create extremely simple art, cuz who cares anyway -slow down and try to enjoy living simply -and as much as I love video games, try to keep game play to a minimum (unless I'm learning from it)
Now, it's easier said than done for some. Hopefully it works for me. I guess when I start getting attention for things I've created, I start to pressure myself to go above and beyond. I guess every artist suffers from perfectionism. In reality anyone rarely achieves perfection. Art is imperfection and I keep forgetting.
There's a book called The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. I went through the book (Takes quite a while) and the results are beyond what I ever could have imagined. Hang in there buddy.
